Helping

Ready to make a difference to the lives of many children, teens and adults. Maybe you’ve got an idea for a project? Or you’d like to volunteer some time? Or you could help us fundraise? Here is some information which may be useful if you are thinking of helping in some way.

For Funders

We are extremely grateful to the trusts & foundations and other funders for their support. On this page, see a list of donors whose generosity is helping make a real difference to the lives of many disabled people

Making an individual donation

You can donate in any of these ways. And if you are doing a sponsored event, set up a page for AACT and get your friends, colleagues and family involved.

For Volunteers

We do not have any permanent staff, but we occasionally pay consultants and of course work a lot with volunteer help. Here is some more information on volunteering.

For Consultants

We occasionally have a role for a paid consultant. Individual’s circumstances differ and there may be times when special contractual conditions will apply. However, click here to see the type of agreement we normally require with a self-employed consultant.

For Trustees: Responsibilities and Duties of Trustee-Directors

This document summarises the main duties and responsibilities of trustee-directors. It is based on guidance supplied by the Charity Commission and the NVCO.
